What makes polyaspartic different
Polyaspartic is a two-component aliphatic polyurea — a close cousin of polyurea but engineered with a slower, more workable reaction time. The "aliphatic" part is key: aliphatic polymers don't degrade under UV exposure the way aromatic coatings do. Which means: polyaspartic doesn't yellow in Florida sun.
The recoat window is the other big advantage. Where epoxy needs 24-72 hours between coats, polyaspartic can recoat in 2-6 hours. That's the difference between a project that takes a week and one that's walkable in a day.
