How long, how guaranteed
What's the cure time before I can walk or drive on the floor?expand_more
72 hours for full cure on most systems. You can typically return vehicles and put the space back in full service at that point. Florida humidity can extend cure times slightly — we specify moisture-tolerant primers and use accelerated systems when the schedule demands faster return.
Do you offer a warranty?expand_more
Yes. 10 years residential and 1 year commercial & industrial. Covers installation-related adhesion and delamination. Our warranty is backed by proper surface prep, correct system selection for the environment, and certified installation — the three variables that account for most coating failures.
How fast can you start after I approve the quote?expand_more
Most projects start within 24 to 72 hours of approval. Timing depends on size, complexity, and any surface prep that's needed before the coating goes down.
How long does the installation itself take?expand_more
Residential: 1-3 days depending on scope. Commercial and industrial: minimum 3-5 days. Add 72 hours for full cure after the last coat.

Do you use UV-resistant topcoats?expand_more
Yes, on every outdoor or window-lit application. Standard aromatic epoxy can yellow in as little as 3 months of direct Florida sun. Aliphatic polyaspartic topcoats protect against UV degradation and keep the finish looking factory-fresh for years.
How do you handle moisture on coastal or high-humidity slabs?expand_more
Every commercial project gets ASTM F1869 calcium chloride and F2170 in-situ relative humidity testing before coating. Over the industry thresholds (3 lb/1,000 sf/24 hr and 75% RH)? We install a moisture mitigation membrane first. Residential moisture testing is available for an additional charge.

How we do the work
What surface prep methods do you use?expand_more
Both diamond grinding and shot blasting depending on the slab condition and the system being installed. Diamond grinding for thin-mil epoxy and decorative systems (CSP 1-2). Shot blasting for industrial-grade mortars and thick builds (CSP 3-7). Prep dictates warranty — skipping this step is why most floor failures happen.

What equipment do you use?expand_more
Lavina grinders, Niagara equipment, US Saws, Crown forklifts, Joint Hogs, and HEPA-filtered vacuums. Professional-grade equipment is the minimum baseline — not optional.
What coating types do you install?expand_more
Epoxy, polyaspartic, urethane concrete, hybrid systems, polished concrete, and specialty decorative finishes. The right choice depends on chemical exposure, traffic, cure-time constraints, and UV exposure.

Is moisture mitigation a standalone service?expand_more
Yes. Moisture mitigation can be installed as a standalone service, separate from coatings. If your slab is failing vapor emission tests and you need to isolate the moisture before another trade installs flooring, we handle that.
Do you install cove base?expand_more
Yes — for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Integral cove base is required by FGI Guidelines in certain healthcare infection-control areas and is a common add-on for food service, veterinary, and sanitary environments.
