How to measure for your quote
Knowing your square footage gets you a faster, more accurate quote. It only takes a tape measure and a minute. Here is exactly how to do it.

For a simple room, measure the length and the width in feet, then multiply them. That is your square footage.
Length × Width = Square Feet
Example: a garage that is 20 ft long and 22 ft wide is 20 × 22 = 440 sq ft.
L-shaped or odd rooms
For an irregular space, split it into rectangles, measure each one, and add them together.
Area A + Area B = Total Square Feet
Draw a rough sketch, break it into boxes, and label each. Do not worry about being perfect, a close estimate is all we need to start.
